About Dawn Viola
Dawn resides in Setauket with her husband and four children. The family is fortunate enough to have her mother live with them as well. Dawn's mother has instilled in her the importance of family and sharing experiences everyday. As a volunteer for Long Island Blood Services Dawn has been asked to speak with groups and organizations about the importance of donating blood and platelets. Being able to speak to volunteers at their annual luncheon celebrating their successful blood drives allows her to say thank-you first hand. Dawn was born with a platelet storage pool disease and has been the recipient of platelets on many occasions. Unfortunately Dawn's children also have the disease and for that reason feels it is her responsibility to educate as many people as possible about the importance of blood and platelet donations. She also believes in teaching her children the importance of being involved in their community is immeasurable. She and her children have been involved in volunteering at local soup kitchens, food pantries and collecting clothing, furniture and household items for donation. Dawn knows the importance of helping local families and based on that found the need for a foundation to be formed called North Star. With her family behind her she believes in giving people the opportunity to have things they need and can’t necessarily provide for their families. With the support of family, friends and fellow Realtors she has been able to assist many local families with their needs.
Dawn graduated from Sachem High School, later attended Suffolk County Community College and Penn State University. She enjoys spending time with family, boating, vacationing and doing home projects. It is Dawn's intent to have each customer and client gain happiness during each transaction and have all their needs and expectations surpassed.
